Sex Without Condoms Improve Mental Health?

Psychologists in Scotland examined sexual relations without a condom can be beneficial to one's mental health than wearing protective equipment. But the study was sparked controversy health experts. Is it true that having sex without a condom is more healthy?
Professor Stuart Brody, a psychologist from the West of Scotland University who led the study claims that intimate relationships are not protected with condoms can enhance the mental health of men and women.
Conversely, couples who frequently have sex using a condom would have a lower mental health because it is associated with symptoms of stress and depression.
Although not yet know the exact cause, but Brody suspect it is related to the level of sexual satisfaction better when not wearing a condom. This will trigger the brain releases the hormone dopamine and other pleasure hormone carrier more so that someone will feel more calm, comfortable, happy and far from stress or other mental illness.
However, this study invites comments oblique sexual health experts because they can trigger unwanted pregnancies yag and also sexually transmitted diseases. The argument of Professor Brody is, the human body is naturally programmed to get enjoyment when not restricted. In this case the sex is not limited by the condom.
"That's because there evolved a greater advantage when having sex without protection, such as the ability to breed. And that ability can enhance sexual satisfaction, thus feeling happy even greater," Brody said as quoted by Geniusbeauty
.
Brody drew that conclusion after conducting a survey of 99 women and men in Portugal. Participants were asked to fill out questionnaires about their sexual satisfaction while wearing a condom and without a condom.
By using the calculation of the scale of Canadian psychology, Brody found that participants who used condoms experienced more stress than participants who did not wear a condom.
"While there is stress, but they are having sex without a condom can overcome stress better and more mentally healthy," he said. Responding to this research, Tony Kerridge of Marie Stopes International, - an organization that cares about reproductive health -, expressed reservations because it deems the study could lead to sex behavior and sexually transmitted infections.
"Probably more mentally healthy because it feels will be more satisfied if having sex without a condom. But what about his physical health? Especially for those who have sexually transmitted diseases. This study applies only to those who are married and are free from infectious diseases only. Do not attempt tried to have sex without a condom with a reason for mentally more healthy, "said Tom.
